Discover Laser is a doctor led, non-surgical Aesthetic Medicine Clinic providing specialist skin care, anti-ageing and hair reduction procedures, through injections, topical treatments and light-based systems. We have sourced cutting edge technology and products that deliver results to enhance the way you look and feel.
Dr Miguel Montero is Discover Laser’s Clinical Director and has practised medicine in the UK for 14 years. After completing his medical studies in Granada, Spain and his national service as an army doctor, Miguel worked with his father in Almeria, where he developed his interest in the use of laser technology within medicine.
After moving to England, he worked predominantly in hospitals in the North West, developing his surgical and medical skills and since 2004 has worked as a GP in Burnley. He is a member of the British Medical Laser Association and the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors.
Miguel is joined by his wife Gill and their friend of many years, Steve Connolly.
Steve Connolly is our Operational Director who has his roots firmly in the Northwest, living his early years in Oldham before moving to Burnley in 1985. Steve’s background in hospitality management guarantees you a warm and friendly welcome at our clinic and ensures we focus on
service delivery and sound operational practices - a perfect compliment to Miguel’s clinical lead.
Gill Montero is Discover Laser’s Managing Director. Originally from Bury, Gill has lived in Burnley for more than 20 years. She has 30 years experience in commercial and financial management and will be actively involved in the day to day functioning of the clinic. Gill is responsible for the clinic’s concept and has developed, together with Miguel and Steve, Miguel’s original idea into what you see today.
