About LightSheer™ Laser Treatment
Lightsheer™ a diode laser from Lumenis™, uses a beam of highly concentrated light to target hair follicles. The light emitted targets the melanin (natural colour) in the hair which then carries the light beam down to the root where the heat from the laser damages it. Each pulse of light from the laser targets numerous hairs simultaneously, treating areas quickly and effectively. A special contact-cooling hand piece allows us to treat even the most sensitive areas. It protects and cools the upper layer of the skin before, during and after each laser pulse while directing the laser energy to the hair root.
About RevLite® Laser Treatment
RevLite® from HoyaConBio® produces a light that travels so fast it creates a ‘shock wave’ that is carried to the root by the hair’s melanin, shattering the hair root and damaging it. Only a small amount of heat is produced from the friction of the ‘shock wave’ and together with our in-treatment cooling, RevLite® provides a painless yet highly effective solution to unwanted hair. It has a fantastic safety profile and is especially safe to use on darker skin types.
The Chill Factor
An important part of the treatment is cooling the skin. Our Zimmer Cryo cooling system is the finest available device for laser procedures. We cool the skin with -22° F cooled air before, during, and after the procedure, reducing the sensation while decreasing thermal temperature. This assists us in successfully treating skin all skin types safely and effectively.
