Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers are a popular treatment for wrinkles and facial lines. The hyaluronic acid gel injections help to smooth away noticeable deeper furrows around the mouth and nose and are also effective for forehead lines, frown lines and crows feet. They are also used for reshaping and enhancing lips, chin and cheeks.
(We use Juvederm® formulations which include 0.3% lidocaine - a local anaesthetic - to make the procedures more comfortable).
Prior to treatment, a mild anaesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area for your comfort. The filler is then injected into the skin below the wrinkle. A small amount of redness may occur around the treatment area but this fades within a few hours
The treatment is very quick, taking 10 to 30 minutes depending on the number of lines and wrinkles treated, make-up can be applied immediately after treatment and you can go straight back to work immediately afterwards
The treatment takes approximately 15-20 minutes and results last about 6 months up to 1 year.
