If you have eyes that are quite close together, the key is to use lighter shades on the inner area of your eye to give the illusion of more brighter wider eyes and darker shades on the outer corner to elongate the eyes.

STEP ONE
Apply your lighter shade across your entire eyelid blending slightly above your crease.

STEP TWO
Apply your medium shade in a v shape around the outer corner of your eye and into the crease but only halfway across, in-line with the middle of your eye. Going all the way across your crease towards the inner part of your eye will only close the eyes up.

STEP THREE
Using your darkest shade concentrate on your outer v, lifting slightly towards your brow and blend.

STEP FOUR
Using your darker shade, work from your outer corner into your lower lash line. Bring it  halfway along your lower lash line and blend so you can’t see where the line ends.

STEP SIX
If you like to line your upper lash line, concentrate on the outer part of your lash line. Create a feline flick to draw attention to the outer part then bring it finely into the middle of your eye.

STEP SEVEN
When lining your inner rim avoid using black as this will frame and draw attention to close set eyes, instead opt for nude or white colours which will make your appear larger.

STEP EIGHT
Finally apply a highlighting shade to the inner v of your eyes as this will brighten and make them appear wider.
